Power Offensive Formations
T Bone-Jumbo
Another formation based off of Green Bay packers running success, and similar to the various Full House power formations becoming popular in Madden 2005. With two fullbacks all kinds of power runs are possible, predominantly to the tight end strong side but effective on the weak side as well ("weak" being a relative term here).
U Bacon
A formation borrowed from the Green Bay Packers and normally intended to utilize a sixth offensive lineman, this Maddenized version puts two tight ends, as well as a fullback on the strong side for an ultra-powerful ground attack. The Power O is the classic pulling guard power run that U Bacon executes to perfection.
Wishbone-Big
Smash-mouth football in classic form. The Wishbone formation has been brought to Madden in its biggest and toughest incarnation. Two lead blockers and two tight ends will let you shove defenses all over the field. HB Lead Smash tears gaping holes in the defense and lets the ball carrier sprint to the openings.
Jumbo Wing
Jumbo Wing is the biggest wing formation you could ever ask for. It's designed to spread out defenses and keep them guessing as to where you will attack next. Sweep is an outside run that takes advantage of the big wing to the fullest.
Sidewinder
Sidewinder is a formation inspired in part by the power rushing attack of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. I took their OzBone formation and adapted it mainly by shifting the lead fullback to the left, creating a slithery, snake-like appearance. Two fullbacks and a tight end give awesome run blocking power, with one receiver split wide to allow a few passing plays to be thrown into the mix. Great for grinding down the clock or just grinding up your opponent. IB Double Wham (that's IB for I Back, instead of HB for Halfback) combines power with well executed blocking for a running play that can really shred defenses.
Strong T
A power running formation which drastically compliments my typically sophisticated passing formations. Intended for short yardage and goal line situations. HB Off Tackle is my bread and butter play for scoring touchdowns and burning up clock.
