I found out a way to do the option! You can do it on almost any formation, but the best is with a back on the weak side. You create a pass, but make everybody run block. Now make a custom route for the option back that looks something like this:

The reason i don't just do a swing route is that the back gets around and upfield too fast.

Now that the routes done, time for the QB. DON'T EDIT HIS ASSIGNMENT. Just sweep him around manually, and if you're in trouble, just pass the RB.

It's not a sure-fire play, but it's the closest Madden comes to option football. If you find something wrong, or just have a suggestion post it!

make sure u have the WRs go deep also or some deep route to run off the corners
