What is your play style? Knowing how you like to play things makes recommendations a lot easier.

My newer plays tend to be a bit better, in my opinion. In each section (balanced offence, speed offense, etc.) the newer/better formations are at the top of the list. Choose a few formations from each category to ensure that you have good speed, power, and balanced attack options.

On defense, avoid the older 4-3 Stagger (use 4-3 Barricade instead). Otherwise you probably want to include everything for a completely new playbook. If you just gradually modify an existing playbook (which I'd recommend) the order doesn't really matter, add formations which fit your needs (pass defense, run defense, etc.)

Well thanks for the help. I like to pass a lot. I am usually the falcons so if a pass play breaks down i run with vick. I used some of the plays. I really like the dynamo formation and the play switchblade. If u can think of any other plays that are similar to these it would be great.

If you're most interested in passing plays then I'd concentrate on the Speed formations, though there are quite a few good plays in Balanced as well. Be aware that a lot of the Speed formations are older and the plays may not be quite as good as some of the newer stuff.

Also, many of the Speed formation plays were developed for earlier versions of Madden with less powerful pass rushes. If you see a play that you like with 5 passing routes and no blocking help, consider taking a non-essential route (usually the RB) and have him help out in pass blocking. In some cases you can also shorten up routes like deep outs and corners to prevent holding the ball too long.
