SouthTitanDude, I love the Pack but to put them in as a top 3 team right now is a bit ridiculous. I think they have a chance to get to that level by the end of the season, but right now no way. And the Chiefs? C'mon, one great game does not make a great team.

Also, I've moved this topic to Miscellanous from General Strategy. Come on everyone, I don't want to nag, but lets try to pick sensible categories when we start new discussions.

I think your forgetting a couple of really great teams. The Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Indianapolis Colts.

My favorite would have to be the Falcons

Yeah right buddy. Okay you got me. I agree i did leave out a couple of good teams. But in my opinion a good quarterback dosent make a good team (the falcons)

Yes, a good QB makes a good team. Michael Vick is the force behind the Falcons. Remember last season. The falcons go 2-10 without Vick, and 3-1 with Vick. Think about it. If a franchise QB goes down, then why bother. Thats why the Colts have problems if Manning goes down. Lord knows the Cory Sauter can't take the reins

Qbs have a good influence on the team but there are a lot more deciding factors

Maybe you forgot about Alge Crumpler, T.J. Duckett, Warrick Dunn, Peerless Price, Patrick Kerney, Keith Brooking...etc.

I don't see how you can even consider the Chiefs or the Packers among the best.

The chiefs have absolutely no defense. No matter how good their offense is, you can't go very far with that horrible defense. Same goes for the Packers. They just can't stop the run, especially up the gut. And I think all Packer fans will never forget 4th and 26. Razz

Are you crazy JiggleFactor. I mean I agree about the cheifs. However look at their performance today. They kiled the bronx. However the packers, I strongly disagree with you. I dont care if they dont really have good stats, gbaja-miala had like 4 sacks today and a forced fumble(returned for a touchdown).

What now JiggleFactor

Acctually, he only had 1 sack, but yeah, KGB is a great end but the rest of their line isn't very good at all, especially the defensive tackles. And Nick Barnett is more of a sideline to sideline guy, he's not that great at stuffing the inside run. Al Harris is a good corner but Ahmad Carrol is still a rookie and you can forget about depth.

I agree, the Packers are a great team. I'm acctually a big Ahman Green fan, I'm just saying that their defense isn't good enough to get them very far in the playoffs.

Also they relie far too much on Favre, if he has a bad game, they lose. If you look at the Patriots or the Steelers, the 2 best teams in the AFC, if Tom Brady or Big Ben has a bad game, they can still pull off a win. The Packers have alot of trouble winning when Favre isn't having a good game.

I am not logging in either but I am SouthTitanDude. It is all good. I have been a pax fan since 2nd grade (freshmen in high school now). I do agrre about farve on how the team does rely on him. But that is only because he is the awesomsst QB ever. There are other players on the feild who good. (luchey, Driver, Green and from the monday night against the rams davenport)

Well, Brett Favre sure didn't look good in that Wild card loss to Minnesota Sunday. After 4 INT's he now contemplates. I think you might have seen the last of a hero. Favre is a great QB and will be remembered for his skill level, but I think the time has come.
