I'm playing on Xbox, and I can't find a way to save audibles for my custom playbook. Someone figured it out for 2004 (i'm playing 2005), last year, but that method doesn't work this year. If anyone figures it out, let me know. Sadly, I may start looking to use a default team playbook, because I can't compete without audibles, and I want to play online, and can't with my custom playbook.

Damn. I hadn't gotten around to setting my audibles yet (I'm pretty used to living without them since my initial custom playbook experiences). I just tried about every method I could think of on my system (Gamecube) and nothing worked.

Couldn't save from in game. Couldn't save from practice. No access to custom playbooks when modifying coaching settings in Profile editor.

This is really disappointing. How is it that EA can barely touch the Custom Playbook editor in the last two years but manage to set back custom playbook audibles each time?

tcsmooth, I guess my best advice would be to concentrate on formations with good motion capabilities and plays with good Playmaker ability. These have basically been my "audibles" over the past two seasons. It's not perfect, but I've found that I get a lot more milage by looking for little bits of flexibility in every play than in a limited set of five audibles (due to either the predictablity of using audibles from different formations, or limiting yourself to just one or two formations that have to fit every situation).
