Okay, not really, but did anyone notice a technique that the Seahawks D used on Steve Smith (I think on the play where Delhomme threw his first INT)? They had an OLB lined up directly over Smith with a CB playing off behind him. That's a technique right out of the Peregrine 3-4 formation, specifically WR Shutout.

Just thought I'd like to point out an instance showing that my crazy ideas actually can work!

Yes, the approach was very very similar and very effective. It definitely caught my eye early in the game. I didn't even watch the end but can see from the stats and the score that the coverage kept working.

Not sure if its the same INT or not but Jake looked really confused on one where he looked like he was throwing outside to the sidelines and his arm just kind of made this awkward throw to the inside, right to a Seahawk. I think that was the point where I chalked it up to the Seahawks.

the crazy thing is tho that Jake on that game put to must trust in Smith! i mean Steve is super cold but he has a vet and a I think 2nd year WR (Proehl and Drew Carter)

Those are pretty good ideas, too bad I cant use them in franchise mode >_<

Most of the time i use bump and run with safety help over the top to shut down the recievers.
