Alot of you proboably hate 06, but you have to admit, the cone and prescision passing were good. Do you agree?

I said precision good, cone bad, but not because the cone is a bad idea. Rather, the difference between QBs is too big. The best QB cones are what, four times the size of the worst QBs? This is too much difference. It should be more like a 2-to-1 ratio in my opinion. Hopefully this will be more balanced next year.

Good point Arkaein. After a few seasons, all the QBs with big cones are old. They should make the young players not have tiny cones.

The percision passing is a new element to madden. So it takes time to get use to. I've found that you can't live with it or without it. Any given Sunday you can use it and capitalize on mismatches and coverage mistakes, just picking apart the secondary. But it also telegraphs your passes and when matched up with Defenses who have High AWR it could mean a long day for your offense.
I use percission passing in most cases to make the SS/FS Byte on a Deep corner route all the while watching my reciever run a streak or post (in single) to a spot where the safeties used to be. Then I place the ball away from the defender.
I 've practiced this over and over and have had great success.

The key to getting the most out of the percision passing is watching your drop most players hike the ball and drop 15 yards only to pass out of rhythm. Depending on your routes drop 3,5 or 7 step and set up. Then know who your playing, Defense wise and exploit its weakness(s).

I actually love it and it reminds me of Sega's Primetim w/ D.Sanders
holla

I like the precision passing for in & out routes. Because the safety's deep, I can put it away from everybody without the WR slowing down.
